BUSINESS PROFILE
From the early 1970’s to the present day BEL have invested and developed the welding facilities leading to the formation of BEL Weld in 2001. Originally manual welding techniques were employed, however present day techniques employ both manual and 3 fully automated Digital Hot Wire TIG welding systems.

BEL Weld has a Digital Bending machine that allows spools to be produced in the most cost effective manner. The reduced number of welds and fittings is a direct cost saving. The bending complies with the requirements of ANSI B31.3.

BEL Weld currently hold some 300+ fully qualified procedures in various welding techniques including GTAW, MMA, FCAW and automated hot wire TIG. These procedures cover European and international standards.


 

We have vast experience of the materials from the basic Carbon Steels, Low Alloys (AISI4130), 13% Chrome (F6NM), Stainless 316, Duplex grades 31803/32760 and High Nickel Alloy 625. Many other materials have been welded and a listing can be provided upon request.

CUSTOMER PROFILE
BEL Weld has the capability to fully support a customer base in the welding of small to medium vessels, high pressure pipework, corrosion resistant overlay, hardfacing and packaging systems. In addition BEL Weld also has digital mandrel bending for pipe sizes up to 3" nominal bore.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
The group employs fully trained welders, welding engineers and Metallurgist to support the business ensuring the product is welded in accordance with the clients specifications, has full traceability and is on time. All welding is supported with NDT and heat treatment should it be required.
Work is done in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 with welding qualifications to ASME IX etc.
