BUSINESS PROFILE
The division manufactures superior close boarded timber and plywood cases and crates suitable for domestic and global markets. In addition, it offers a comprehensive packing, inspection and preservation service to industry, providing competitive rates for working on and off site.

Its core business areas encompass timber case manufacture, lifting and moving of equipment using our 65 ton cranage facilities and 15ton fork lift truck, storage with approx 80.000 sq ft, protected by CCTV, video systems and 24 hour security personnel cover, qualified expertise in dangerous goods handling and also provide cleaning, preservation and packaging solutions to commercial, MOD and nuclear standards.

The divisions facilities are located near to key road, air and sea networks in both Gateshead and Glasgow.


 


CUSTOMER PROFILE
As members of FPAL and NDI we provide services to local, national and international manufacturers and exporters across all industries, including MoD suppliers and members of the gas and oil industry.
Originally focussing on heavy plant equipment, in recent years we have expanded into the professional packing, preservation and shipping of lighter goods and have also worked alongside some of the major dismantling companies where we have been employed to help with
installations and factory relocations.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Fully approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, with computerised estimating and box design to military DR14 standards. All wood used within our packaging is ISPM 15 compliant and thus parasite free. As members of the international wood marking scheme our cases and bases all display our stamp GB FC0058 DB - HT (Gateshead) and GB FC0059 DB - HT (Glasgow) which is proof to customs worldwide that the wood will not pose a threat to the indigenous flora of the country our wooden package will be
entering.
