The business was founded during the early 1950s. The
main activity of CMP Products is the design, development
and manufacture of Cable Glands and Cable Accessories
for the International Electrical Installation industries.
Terminating cable is its business.
Cable Glands are offered to suit the whole range of
Low, Medium & High Voltage Power, Control, Instrumentation
and Lighting Cables, and are available to suit both
the IEC Electrical Code of Installation, and the NEC
Electric Wiring Code.
End users in general industries and the Oil, Gas and
Petrochemical industry sectors, including the Offshore
& Marine markets utilise CMP cable glands for terminating
cables in virtually every situation. CMP Products is
able to provide standard and bespoke solutions to suit
a variety of applications and situation including not
only Cable

Glands, but also Adaptors
and Reducers, Stopper Plugs, Breather Drains, Unions, and
a host of related accessories. Products can be manufactured
in Brass, Nickel Plated Brass, Aluminium, Stainless Steel
and Non-Metallic variations.

scale International Integrated Projects where the execution
of contract usually involves additional technical support
and documentation content to suit.
